Michael Gallagher Jewelers is a family-owned jewelry business in Delaware with more than 65 years of experience. We are recognized for offering quality jewelry at fair prices and are known for providing exceptional customer service.

History

Our original store opened in 1948 and grew to several locations, all of which were managed by Andrew F. Gallagher. With Andrew’s retirement in 1989, Andrew’s son Michael and daughter-in-law Kathleen took over the business. However, Andrew’s retirement would be short-lived; he soon returned to the business and to the store he loved and worked there until his passing in 1995.

Generations in the tri-state area continue to choose Michael Gallagher Jewelers because of our commitment to providing customers with a truly personalized shopping experience in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Highly trained jewelers

The Gallagher name has always been synonymous with trust in the jewelry industry in Delaware. Michael is a trained GIA jeweler and has completed Advanced Laser Training. We are affiliated with Jewelers of America, Tri-State Jewelers Association and the Pennsylvania Jewelers Association.

A team of experienced sales and repairs specialists

Our sales associates are experienced professionals in the jewelry industry. Our jewelry designers are skilled at custom design and remounts. Our team of onsite repair specialists hold numerous certifications and are highly trained in laser repair of diamonds, precious gems and fine jewelry.

Our exclusive jewelry lines

Michael Gallagher Jewelers has developed its own line of jewelry inspired by Delaware’s many delightful beach resorts. The most popular items from our line include the Delaware Beaches Bead and Sand Bucket Bead.
